Is this all there is?

It's Wednesday and cold outside again. That means probably no walk for me tonight. I lay here all day watching the soaps and I get to thinking, "Is this all there is?". Have I missed out on things here on the couch? These are questions that come to me from time to time, but then my family comes home and all is well in the world.

I try not to let it bother me that they are so busy with the girls that I come last in attention. I drag out all my cute toys and do my best cute faces, but some days that's just not enough. I know they work all day and all I do is wait for them at home, but I want to be ready just in case they need me and want to play. Because that is my job, folks, to be there for my humans.

This is the best dog ever! We rally should give her a walk more often ... but there is so much to do ... work, kids, school ... poor Mayster just patiently wait ...

This may be a dog for some, but for me it is part of my hart ... I love this Mayster more than anyone can imagine ... it isn't that she is intelligent, or cute ... it is that one can sense around her that she really thinks and loves you ... unconditionally too ...

I tell you I now enjoy just looking in her eyes and talk to her by moving my head left, right, etc.
We know each other so well that I do not have to say that much to her ....

I love to get my nose right with her hose ... sometimes is wet, sometimes is rather dry and although she does not really like that (too close) I make her do it ... because I know that she will try to defend herself from that closeness, and of course the only way this dog expresses any emotions is through ... liking ... so she will lick my face to ask me to stop being so close ...

But she not just does not mind but sometimes I think she likes when we sleep right next to each other ...
